We are honored to offer The Essential Candle in one curated collection to recognize a great American artist.
The De Luxe Show was an art exhibition held from August to September 1971 at the DeLuxe Theater in Houston's fifth ward. The mission was to bring contemporary art into a low-income, predominantly Black communities.
The exhibit was organized by an African American artist. Read about him here.
The De Luxe Show was one of the first racially integrated art exhibitions in the United States. It featured some of the most acclaimed artists of the era as well as several emerging artists who later became widely recognized.
Our De Luxe Collection includes four, 10-ounce Essential Candles in the following fragrance blends:
Irabella Suede
Irabella Suede is a gorgeously complex fragrance that captivates the senses with its luxurious blend of natural elements.
Delicate notes of rose water, La Mancha saffron, and violet petals, creating an enchanting and refined introduction. Smoked palo santo adds warmth, supporting the earthy richness of bourbon vanilla and woodland vetiver. Nicola al Monte
An alluring and complex fragrance blend featuring Italian bergamot, green tea leaves and las pampas. Mid-notes of oakmoss, damask rose, and white iris rest on a base of tonka bean and sandalwood.
Mystery and intrigue inspire this sensual fragrance blend. Cardamom, bergamot and sugared citrus zest open up to a heart of patchouli, damask rose, and white iris. Softened and balanced by a base of vanilla orchid, ambergris, sultry labdanum and tonka bean and light musk.
Nobel Rae
Nobel Rae is a distinct and sensual fragrance that embodies the luxurious warmth of fine leather.
This sophisticated blend opens with rich leather, smoky brandy, and vibrant crimson saffron, evoking a sense of timeless elegance. Golden amber and earthy patchouli add depth and complexity, while fragrant incense weaves through the heart of the fragrance. The scent is anchored by warm tobacco leaves and velvety vanilla, creating a bold and irresistible composition that lingers with sensual warmth.
Prishanthy West
Prishanthy West is a warm, earthy, and seductive fragrance that draws you in with its deep, aromatic layers.
It opens with the bright citrus of bergamot and the richness of amber, leading into a heart of resinous myrrh and frankincense—time-honored ingredients treasured for centuries. Woody incense notes are softened by delicate powder and oud, creating a smooth, sensual foundation. Base notes of patchouli and coriander seed reinforce the earthy complexity of this fragrance.
Coveted for millennia for use in both perfumes and incense, Prishanthy West captures the true essence of ancient frankincense and myrrh, blending them with soft, powdery undertones and warm, woody oud for a truly captivating, mysterious experience.

Expertly blended, cruelty-free, non-toxic, paraben-free, phthalate-free fragrance oil and essential oil.
Our wicks are constructed of natural fibers and primed using botanical wax.
Assembled in a Lovela + Company handcrafted, reusable candle vessel.

How To Use
How To Use
Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.
Trim wick to 1/8" before relighting.
Only burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface.
For optimal performance, allow candle to burn until melted wax reaches all sides of the vessel.
Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains.

Warning: Candles are a fire hazard.
Always burn candle within sight, never leave unattended. Keep candle away from drafts, vents and flammable objects.
Keep candle away from children and pets. Never touch container while candle is burning, it will be hot.
Never extinguish wicks by placing wooden lid on top of the candle. Do not attempt to trim wicks while candle is burning.
Candle Refill Disclaimer: Before using always read and follow candle warning information and candle refill instructions. Never burn candle refill before placing it in a Lovela + Company Candle Vessel. Never reuse candle vessel with a candle refill more than two additional times after initial purchase of the candle vessel. Wash hands with soap and water after handling candle refill.

From May 1st through September 30th, we only ship products on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the week.
This limits the time that your order is stored (over the weekend) in non-air conditioned facilities. If you place your order Wednesday morning, it may not leave our studio until the following Monday depending on our order volume.
This is a necessary step to maintain the quality and integrity of your order. Kindly plan for additional fulfillment time.

Candle Refill Instructions
Candle Refill Instructions
Candle Refill (made exclusively for Lovela + Company Handcrafted 10-ounce Tula vessel).
Disclaimer: Before using read and follow candle refill instructions. Never burn candle refill before placing it in a Lovela + Company Candle Vessel. Wash hands with soap and water after handling candle refill.
-Use pliers to very gently and carefully remove both metal wick tabs (along with the round wick stickers) that are adhered to the bottom of used candle vessel.
-Gently wipe out all remaining candle wax and residue on the inside of the candle vessel.
-A cloth with warm soapy water can be used to completely and effectively remove all wax residue from the inside of the vessel.
-Use a dry cloth to wipe inside of candle vessel to ensure it is completely dry and free of wax residue.
Important Note: Candle vessel is not food safe, dishwasher safe, oven safe or microwave safe.
-Read Safety Label on the bottom of the candle refill.
-Remove all packaging from candle refill.
-Located on the bottom of the candle refill, remove the round wax paper from each metal wick tab to reveal wick sticker.
-Turn candle refill over to the wick side (both wicks facing up).
-Gently slide the candle refill down into the candle vessel.
-Gently press down on the surface or top of candle refill thus making sure the candle refill is resting on the bottom of the candle vessel. This will also ensure that both wicks securely adhere to the bottom of the candle vessel.
-Light pre-trimmed wicks.
