Come and create your own handcrafted candles while learning about the art of candle making in an inspiring, welcoming environment. Whether you attend solo or with friends, this is an opportunity to unwind, connect, and craft meaningful candles to take home.

Event Overview:

Meet the Maker: Danielle Nichols, expert chandler and owner of Lovela + Company, will lead you through the process of pouring your coconut crème wax candles.

Handcrafted Goodness: Using a handcrafted Lovela + Company candle vessel, you’ll explore fragrance blending, proper candle wicking, wax measuring, and pouring techniques to create a beautifully scented candles.

Sip and Create: Enjoy a complimentary beverage as you craft, adding to the relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

Empower and Connect: Celebrate Women’s History Month by supporting women-owned businesses, engaging in meaningful conversations, and making new connections.

Additional Information

All materials are provided, you will leave the class with three handcrafted, vegan, cruelty-free, and earth-safe candles that will fill your space with fall season vibes.

We recommend wearing slacks/long skirt, long sleeves/cardigan, and closed-toe shoes. An apron and heat safe gloves will be provided.

About the Location

Long-time Austinite couple Moya and Colin McIntyre have transformed the old Austin Eastciders space into a new all-day concept called Stargazer. Named Stargazer as an homage to the location’s new vintage rocket ship installation and one of their favorite flowers, the McIntyres decided to open a type of concept that they would enjoy frequenting themselves, and one that embodies the welcoming Old Austin atmosphere they love.
